AWARDS INFORMATION

Our annual May Luncheon during NAIW week is the time of year when we honor our Member of the Year and Rookie of the Year. These awards serve to recognize excellence and commitment within our local association.
Among the criteria considered for these awards are the candidate's participation in: Association Activities, Involvement in the Insurance Industry, Educational programs, and participation in our community as well.

We honor two of our members annually with these awards.  The local winners may also be nominated not only at the local level, but may also advance to the State, Regional or National levels of our association as well.

NAIW and its members create a culture that permeates professionalism, industry expertise, community involvement and a strong commitment to education and leadership development.  It is our essence, our DNA, our past, our present and our future, the secret sauce, if you will, of our organization.

This culture motivates and sustains us not only as members of NAIW, but as members of our industry and our communities as well.

This culture does not happen without having the dedication and drive of each and every one of our members.  There are so many of you that are so deserving of this award....but alas.... we can only select one individual for each of these awards.

Barbara Hill was our 2008-2009 Member of the Year and Carol Renfro-Demmon was our Rookie of the Year.  Both of these ladies give their heart and soul to not only NAIW, but the insurance industry as a whole.

Both of these ladies will be collecting your nominations for each of these awards and ask that you have them submitted no later than May 01, 2009 to allow time to order plaques and prepare for the award presentations at our May 22, 2009 May Luncheon. This year it will be held at beautiful Round Hill Country Club in Alamo. We hope that each and every member will be attendance to cheer on our 2009 winners!
